Life to Live

What goes up:

Life is like a rollercoaster, or so it been said over and over again. I disagree with that statement in a sense, mostly because it implies that every time you’re on top, you’ll have a rapid crash down. I liken life more to a pendulum, constantly swinging up and down in a rhythmic beat. Only it beats slow, but to every low point there is a high point coming slowly your way.  It isn’t a crazy drop down or a sharp swing up, even though it may seem that way. If you take a second to take yourself out of the situation, you can see how life is constantly, but subtly and gradually moving up and down. So if you’re at a low point, just remember the pendulum will swing back up again. If you are unhappy with the speed of the movement, take matter into your own hand. Search for a way to get yourself going back up. If you’re on a high, take that moment to appreciate life, and remember that feeling of a low. Prepare yourself for that low because everything comes down, but also enjoy the high.
